The Kamado Club story in Lithuania began back in 2017, when this type of grill started to gain popularity and there was a constant shortage of quality products on the market.
It wasn’t an artificially created scarcity – it was a genuine lack that two young, food-passionate, slightly crazy new fathers decided to fill.
Driven by enthusiasm, perfectionism, and a love for great food, they set out to create and deliver a high-quality grill — not at an American price.
Yes, having little kids didn’t make the journey easier, but we’ve always lived by the principle that if a door closes — climb in through the window; if the road ends — pave your own.
That’s how Kamado Grill Club, a Facebook group, was born — naturally growing with BBQ, grill, and slow-cooking enthusiasts sharing their recipes, tips, and experiences.
Over time, we met many amazing people there — learned from them, taught them, and built real friendships.
Today, the community has grown to nearly 80,000 members, who still grill, share, learn, get inspired, give advice, or simply watch quietly.
From this group came a number of Instagram and YouTube influencers, who discovered that they could share their passion for grilling even more widely — not just after work, but as their work.
As the saying goes: “Turn your hobby into your job, and you’ll never work another day in your life.”
Well — they forgot to mention that you won’t “work,” but you’ll grind 24/7 until you reach your dream.
And people will follow you because you do things beautifully, honestly, deliciously — with attention and love for your audience.
From that same community, Kamado Club BBQ classes were born — events we created and organized together with our colleague and BBQ guru Ramas Dūmas.
During each class, together with our “students,” we prepared and tasted up to five dishes — from shashlik, the perfect steak, or crispy shrimp with oranges, to aromatic ribs, smoked salmon, and apple-curd pies that bring back childhood memories of home-baked desserts.
When the pandemic closed the doors to live classes, it opened another one — we created a recipe book: the Kamado Encyclopedia.
In just nine months, together with the talented creator and crowned “Kamado Queen” Irena Kviat, we compiled everything you would normally learn in six months of intensive BBQ courses.
The Kamado Encyclopedia is a true key to the Kamado world — helping beginners understand what a deflector is and where to place it (with plenty of pictures, photos, and diagrams), how to control temperature, and how to choose the right accessories that make grilling easier and improve results.
