Ingredients

  • Pork cheeks
  • Delicia's Garlic Pepper spices (salt, pepper, garlic granules)
  • Paprika
  • Onion
  • Sweet peppers
  • Carrots
  • Chicken stock
  • Tomato sauce 2 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp

Recipe

  1. Marinate the pork with olive oil, Delicia's spices (salt, black pepper, garlic), and paprika.
  2. Prepare the kamado grill: light the charcoal and place the heat deflectors and drip pan in.
  3. Heat the grill to 110°C.
  4. Choose your favorite wood chips for hot smoking.
  5. Fill the smoker box or smoking tube with wood chips and place it on a hot spot of the charcoal.
  6. For convenience, use a silicone mat.
  7. Once you see smoke coming out of the top vent, place the meat in the grill for hot smoking at 110°C for 2-3 hours.
  8. After smoking, transfer the meat to a cast iron pot along with chicken stock, onion, sweet peppers, carrots, brown sugar, and tomato sauce.
  9. Cook it low and slow for around 2-3 hours over direct heat (without deflectors).
  10. Enjoy!
